1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Phone Cleaner - AI Clean (the “App”) and aicleaner-master.com (the “Website”) handle information. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the App’s developer and operator, identified in its App Store listing. Questions and requests can be sent to support@aicleaner-master.com. This policy covers use of the App, visits to this Website, and communications with support.
Our approach is to keep the content you use with cleanup tools on your device. This policy also explains the limited, separate situations involving support messages, Apple purchases, and an optional response to a refund request. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
2. Personal content stays on your device
We do not upload your photo library, videos, address book, or the contents you enter into QR-generation tools to developer-operated servers. The App uses the content you authorize it to access to provide the feature you select. We do not sell, rent, or disclose that personal content to advertisers or data brokers.
Access on your device is different from collection by the developer. Granting Photos or Contacts permission lets the App perform a local function; it does not, by itself, authorize us to receive a copy of your library or address book. Apple-managed synchronization, such as iCloud Photos or Contacts, operates separately under your Apple settings.
3. Photos and videos
Photo-cleanup and compression features need access to relevant images or videos. The App may examine local information such as file size, image content, and available metadata to group similar items, show previews, or create a compressed version. This processing is used for the function you request, not for advertising or building a profile about you.
Where iOS offers limited photo access, you can choose which items are available. Results will then reflect that selection. Items stored in iCloud may need to be downloaded through Apple’s services before iOS makes them available locally. That Apple-managed transfer is not an upload to us.
4. Contacts
With your permission, the App reads available contact records to help identify duplicates and display information for review. You decide whether to merge or otherwise change the selected records. We do not receive, sell, or use your contacts for marketing.
Changes may synchronize across devices if the address book is connected to iCloud or another account you have configured. Those services are controlled by your account settings. Review important details before confirming a merge, and keep a backup if you need to preserve an earlier version.
5. QR-code content and sharing
QR codes can contain information you enter, including website links, text, contact information, or Wi-Fi credentials. That content is used to produce the code you request. We do not receive the content through the local QR-generation function.
A person who can view or scan your code may be able to read the information encoded in it. If you choose to save, share, or send a code or another output, the destination app or recipient receives it through the action you initiate. Check the destination and avoid placing sensitive information into publicly displayed codes.
6. Permissions and your choices
iOS controls access to Photos and Contacts. You can refuse a request or later change permissions in Settings. Some features may be unavailable or show incomplete results when access is limited. Permission is requested for a purpose associated with the feature, rather than as permission for unrelated data use.
Revoking access stops future access to the affected content, but does not automatically undo a deletion, merge, compression, or sharing action you previously approved. For information about reversing a change, check the relevant iOS app and its available recovery features.
7. Subscriptions and purchase information
Apple processes App Store payments and manages your Apple Account billing information. We do not receive your full payment-card number, security code, or Apple Account password. The App may use Apple-provided transaction and entitlement information to recognize an active subscription, restore access, or reflect a cancellation or refund.
Purchase-related information is separate from the contents of your photos and contacts. Apple processes purchase data according to its own policies. We do not use a purchase as permission to obtain unrelated personal content from your device.
8. Refund requests and optional information sent to Apple
If you ask Apple to refund an in-app purchase, we may be able to assist its review with limited information about consumption of the purchased service. We will provide such information only if you give the consent required by Apple and applicable law. Accepting these terms or this policy is not, by itself, that separate consent.
Where available and relevant, the information may include time spent using the App, an anonymous or pseudonymous account identifier, total purchase amounts, and total amounts previously refunded. An identifier can relate to a transaction or user without containing a name; it should not be assumed to be impossible to link back to an individual.
We do not send photos, contacts, QR contents, or payment-card details as consumption information. We do not invent missing usage records or begin unrelated tracking for this purpose. If consent is not provided, we do not send a consumption-data response to Apple. Apple independently evaluates the refund request. This limited, consent-based process is an exception to our general practice of not transmitting App content.
9. Support communications
If you email support, we receive the address you use and the contents and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to understand your question, respond, and maintain the related support conversation. Our email service processes messages to deliver and store them on our behalf.
Share only the information needed to explain the problem. Avoid including passwords, payment-card information, private photos, complete contact lists, or other people’s confidential information. You may redact a screenshot before sending it. A support email is voluntary and is not required for ordinary local cleanup.
10. Website operation and external services
This Website does not include advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. Its images and styles are served as part of the site. The hosting service necessarily processes ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, requested page, and browser details, to deliver pages and maintain service security.
When you follow an external link, including a link to Apple, or open your mail app, that service handles the subsequent interaction under its own policies. We do not control its records. Hosting and email processing should not be confused with uploading your photo library or contacts through the App.
11. Purposes and legal grounds
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we use support correspondence to respond to your request and provide assistance; necessary operational records may be handled for legitimate service-security and reliability interests. We rely on consent for an optional disclosure of consumption information to Apple when required, and may process information to comply with a binding legal duty.
Device permissions are an important access control, but they do not replace every consent or notice that may be required for a separate purpose. We do not expand the purpose of information solely because a device permission has been granted.
12. Disclosure and service providers
We do not trade personal information or share App content for behavioral advertising. Limited information may be processed by services needed to deliver the Website or support email, or by Apple in the purchase and consent-based refund circumstances described above.
We may also disclose information we actually possess when a valid legal requirement obliges us to do so, or when law permits a necessary response to a security incident or protection of legal rights. Such a disclosure is limited to its purpose. This does not create access to device content that we never received.
13. Retention and deletion
Content processed locally remains subject to your device storage, selections, and operating-system controls. Deleting the App generally removes its local app data, but does not necessarily remove exported photos, saved QR codes, shared files, contact changes, or backups maintained separately.
Support messages and any legitimately retained purchase-related records are kept only for as long as needed to handle the request, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes, or satisfy legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason for keeping it. You can contact us to request deletion of information we hold, subject to any legally required retention.
14. Security
We limit the information we request and encourage use of the controls provided by iOS. For information we receive through support or other disclosed channels, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to its nature. No system, network transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Keep your device protected, install appropriate updates, and review who can access your backups or shared accounts. A cleaner app is not a replacement for a backup, device passcode, or the security features of the operating system.
15. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information we hold. You may also withdraw consent for a future optional disclosure. Withdrawal does not undo a disclosure lawfully completed before it was withdrawn.
Send requests to support@aicleaner-master.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the request. We cannot retrieve local-only photos or contacts from your device or change Apple’s independent records. You may contact your local data-protection authority about a concern.
16. Children and family use
The App is a general-purpose utility and is not intended to solicit personal information from children. Children should use the App only in accordance with the App Store age rating, applicable local rules, and any required parental or guardian supervision. A parent should review permissions and purchase controls.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate steps. Local content remains subject to the same device-based processing described in this policy.
17. International processing
Information you choose to send by email and ordinary Website connection information may be processed where the relevant service providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the transfer must use the appropriate legal protections. Apple’s international processing is governed by its own privacy arrangements.
This section does not mean that the App transfers your library or address book internationally. Local processing of that content and independent service-provider processing are distinct activities.
18. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when features, legal obligations, or the disclosed handling of information change. The date at the top identifies the current version. If a change requires a new notice or consent, we will provide it through an appropriate channel before applying the new processing where required.
For privacy questions, permission concerns, or requests about support records, email support@aicleaner-master.com. Please describe the relevant feature or interaction so we can address the issue without requesting unnecessary information.
